Camper King Campervan Conversions
Camper King have grown rapidly over the last few years to the point that their campervan conversions are now very well known. A quick look on Autotrader or eBay will show just how many of these models have been built and are in circulation at any one time. With this comes the assurance that they are a popular VW campervan converter.
We have been buying and selling used Camper King conversions for a number of years now and have seen the models develop into practical VW campervans with lots of storage. They always feature a good level of touch activated lighting, their own 12v control panel which provides helpful information such as the level of water in the on-board water tank and a gas safe locker in the rear.
Camper King models
Camper King have changed the name of their model range a few times with previous models such as GTI and Adventure Trek. At the time of writing, they currently have a range of five VW campervan models all named after European destinations: Portofino, Santorini, Le Mans, Monte Carlo and St Tropez

Camper King Monte Carlo
The Camper King Monte Carlo is the type of conversion most people would have in their mind when considering buying a VW camper. Similar to the earlier Adventure Trek, it features a traditional layout with ¾ width bed, furniture running the length of the driver’s side of the van with overhead lockers and an adult rated bed in the pop-top roof.
Camper King Portofino and Santorini
The Portofino and Santorini models are both based on the LWB VW Transporter. Still retaining the tradition layout, both have a wider bed with 3 belted seats. The Camper King Portofino features an almost domestic size oven and smaller drawer fridge. Whilst the Camper King Santorini has a standard fridge and no oven, but offers more storage
Camper King St Tropez and Le Mans
The Camper King St Tropez is very similar to the Monte Carlo with the only real difference being the lack of gas grill. Whilst the Le Mans is similar to the Santorini but on a SWB VW Transporter. All Camper King conversions are available with a list of upgrades such as RIB bed, solar panel, wind out canopy and exterior styling. Available in a whole host of colour schemes some Camper King campers are very vivid.
